NOTE

Octopuses React to MDMA in Similar Way to Humans, Study Finds

Researchers conducted an experiment with octopuses, testing their reaction to MDMA. They found that the octopuses spent more time with other octopuses after being exposed to MDMA-infused water, hinting that the drug affects a primitive part of the brain. This suggests that the effects of MDMA are not exclusive to humans and may have originated before our evolutionary split from octopuses over 250 million years ago.
