Platform Strategy for Niche Content Creators
Consider the platform where conversations in your niche are happening. While there are patterns in niches and platforms, there are exceptions. If you love a platform, keep creating content there. Note that YouTube and Instagram have a stronger overlap compared to YouTube and other platforms like X. Instagram has a much larger user base. Making Instagram content work can be challenging, especially with written content. A possible strategy is creating short-form videos and adding captions to photography. To reach new audiences on Instagram, creating reels may be necessary. Consider if you are willing to engage in this type of content creation, especially if you are already on YouTube.
