Subvocalization activates the frontal lobes and orbital frontal cortex, which are responsible for directing behavior and controlling other parts of the brain. When we subvocalize, the thoughts sink deeper within us, leading to a more lasting impact than when vocalized. This internalization contrasts with the temporary and less impactful nature of vocalization. Additionally, individuals who overtly express positivity may exhibit passive-aggressive tendencies and abandon their positivity when faced with adversity.
