Different Methods of Warming Up the Body Have Equal Benefits
Foam rolling, stretching, and dynamic warm-up are equally beneficial in preparing the body for physical activity. Foam rolling improves blood flow and mechanically moves tissues. Stretching relaxes tissues, allowing greater ranges of motion. Dynamic warm-up increases tissue temperature, blood flow, and heart rate. There is no superior method, and all three approaches provide opportunities to effectively warm up the body before engaging in any physical activity.
