A best practice that has emerged over time is the concept of having five to six priorities at any given time, divided into two or three tuxedo agenda items that are outward facing and three pajama agenda ones that are inward facing. The tuxedo agenda priorities focus on external matters, while the pajama agenda priorities are centered around internal operations and organization dynamics.
