The importance of avoiding slowdowns for innovation teams
Innovation teams cannot effectively build new products if they slow down for every speed bump. A team at a large consumer products company, tasked with innovation and growth, was also required to meet with their innovation board monthly. While making the deck for the meeting in the first week, they were not able to focus on their primary task of building something new.
