Right-wing Populist Parties' Shift on Economic Issues

Right-wing populist parties in different countries vary significantly and should not be conflated with each other. Unlike their American counterparts, many of these parties have shifted to the left on economic issues. For instance, Marine Le Pen's party and the Sweden Democrats have adopted center-left or left-leaning economic stances, distancing themselves from the far-right economic positions of previous generations.
