Effectiveness of Sequencing in Communication

The sequence in which information is presented can impact effectiveness. Research suggests that presenting positives followed by a small negative is more effective than the reverse. Similarly, in persuasion, having one claim is better than having zero claims, and there is a diminishing return after presenting three claims. Stop at three claims as it is considered the magic number for optimal persuasion.
