Reaching the Point of Commitment
Reaching a point of being really good at something can make you question whether you want to commit more time and energy to it. Dropping out of law school, I discovered that I was actually in the top 10 or 20% with all A's. There's a difference between giving up because you're not good yet and making a choice based on whether you truly want it. The zone of genius theory suggests that most people stick to their zone of excellence, but should strive for something they truly want to excel at.
