People's intentions are often misunderstood; what may seem inconsistent could actually be flexibility. Every negative trait has an underlying positive aspect, and vice versa. People don't wake up intending to be negative. To initiate behavior change, it's crucial to address the behavior and perspective from which it arises. Simply pointing out negative traits is ineffective; teaching a positive alternative is key.
