NOTE

Beneficial Cholesterol Ratios

The key cholesterol ratios to monitor for a healthy cardiovascular system are the LDL to HDL ratio and the total cholesterol to HDL ratio. Ideally, the LDL to HDL ratio should be two to one, and the total cholesterol to HDL ratio should be three to one. Additionally, incorporating triglycerides into the equation by maintaining a triglyceride to HDL ratio of less than 3.8 to one can further optimize heart health.
