The Dr. Hyman Show

NOTE

Creating Nutrient-Dense Meals: Incorporating Mackerel, Sardines, and a Variety of Vegetables

I focus on getting nutrient-dense food for lunch. I have mackerel or sardines for omega-3 fats and protein, along with a salad that includes fennel, tomatoes, pumpkin seeds, cucumbers, and olives. I also have roasted mushrooms with garlic, ginger, and bracline for immunity. I include a Japanese sweet potato for its phytochemicals. Vegetables are the centerpiece of my meals, with meat as a side dish. And a little dark chocolate for enjoyment. Food is medicine and starting with a healthy diet can greatly improve your life.
