NOTE

Cholesterol and Triglycerides in Biological Role

Cholesterol's role in particles is not crucial as all tissues can produce cholesterol, but triglycerides are not synthesized by tissues, making triglyceride transport a key feature often overlooked. LDL, a byproduct of metabolic conversion, is utilized by tissues like the adrenal gland and ovaries to synthesize hormones. Although LDL and cholesterol play a biological role, it is not critical. Humans struggle to efficiently remove LDL from the blood compared to other species, leading to potential accumulation in arteries.
