Consequence of rejecting visible miracles in the Quran

The Quran explains that when people demand to see visible miracles, they are warned that if an angel was sent to them, the decision would be final and immediate, leaving no room for further contemplation. If a visible miracle is shown, then rejecting it leads to destruction according to the concept of 'Akkamatul Hijah'. This concept indicates that once a miracle is witnessed, rejection results in dire consequences without further second chances.
