Having a Flexible and Sensible Hydration Plan
Thirst does not always coincide with drink availability, so having a flexible and sensible hydration plan is essential. Overdrinking can lead to weight gain, but tolerating some level of dehydration is alright. Maintaining hydration at a level where dehydration is just a few percent is sufficient.
