The concept of icks involves harmless and random behaviors that immediately turn us off from someone, even if we can't explain why. These icks can range from disliking someone's fashion choices to finding their eating habits repulsive. I believe there are three categories of icks: behavioral icks, which include actions like chasing a ping pong ball or using a baby voice; personal preference icks, which involve disliking specific traits or habits; and dealbreaker icks, which are actions that go against our core values and beliefs. While not scientifically proven, these categories are based on TikTok trends and conversations with friends.
