The Liver: The Metabolic Powerhouse

The liver is a vital organ responsible for central metabolism, essential for sustaining life. Its failure can lead to death, highlighting the need for better public awareness of its importance. Protein is crucial in the diet, supporting numerous cellular processes, maintaining muscle mass, strengthening bones, and ensuring proper immune function.
