In the States, even at restaurants like the Cheesecake Factory, the traditional method of paying with a credit card and adding a tip can be seen as an interesting quirk. However, with the rise of self-serve technologies and the comfort level of people, including older generations, with tap-to-pay methods, we are headed towards a self-serve model. Especially among younger B2B buyers, there is a growing preference for a completely seller-free experience. They view talking to a salesperson as a detractor rather than an additive. Given this trend, it seems unnecessary to require human interaction for purchases.
