NOTE

Navigating Emotional Responsiveness in Relationships

In relationships, it's common to feel responsible for the other person's emotions. However, it's important to understand that we can't control how someone feels. It's okay for them to feel upset or sad, and our role should be to support them rather than trying to fix or change their emotions. Sometimes, our instinct is to make the distress go away, but what they really need is validation and someone who will stand by them. By accepting and sitting with their emotions, we allow them to process naturally and move forward together.
