There's nuance to managing posts on different platforms. Instead of automating everything, a two or three step publishing process with customizable options can preserve the nuance. It's a user interface and user flow issue rather than a technical one. Having a platform that aggregates content and brings everything together is desired, even though it may be a trade-off for networks like Tumblr.
