How I Work

NOTE

Emotion, Not Repetition, Supercharges Habit Formation

Repetition alone does not create habits; it is the emotion experienced during the behavior that supercharges habit formation. Contrary to common belief, the key to forming habits lies in the celebration part, not just in repeating a behavior a certain number of times. Studies show that habit strength correlates with repetition but does not causally result from it. Therefore, the emotional response tied to a behavior is the driving force behind habit formation.
