This shift reflects a modern trend where men are more likely to work remotely due to specializing in fields like computer science and engineering, while women dominate roles like teaching and nursing. Even in professions like law and medicine, where men have traditionally been more prevalent, the balance is shifting as more women are enrolling in law and medical schools. Consequently, in younger couples, it is increasingly common for the woman to pursue careers as lawyers or doctors rather than the man.
