Physical appearance is an important factor in a woman's mate value, more so than in a man's. Attractive women are often assumed to have high status and resources. They typically date men with similar levels of attractiveness and success. However, there can be exceptions if a woman's self-worth is influenced by other factors besides her physical appearance.
