The Role of Male Role Models for Boys
The conversation about young men and the importance of male role models has become more positive in recent years. Mothers have been the biggest supporters of this conversation. The loss of a male role model is a major factor in the crisis faced by boys. Research shows that when parents split up and the boy loses a male role model, the outcomes are different for boys and girls. Boys are physically stronger, but girls are emotionally and mentally stronger. We have been exploring masculinity and what it means to be a better father, husband, and partner with our male guests. Being a man means being of service to others and adding value to their lives.
