Muscular Endurance Training - A Different Approach
Muscular endurance can be developed by using conventional high intensity interval training. However, those sessions have a much higher global fatigue cost than do muscular endurance workouts. The reason for that is that the muscular load required during high intensity endurance training is is a high enough proportion of an athlete's maximum strength. So running hard up hill is an effective way to develop more muscular endurance.
