Efficiency of successive sets

The initial set in a workout is the most productive as it triggers the burning sensation and fatigue, particularly in the central nervous system. As minutes go by, CNS fatigue dissipates, and the body becomes ready for the next set. It's crucial to allow fatigue to reduce to an extent to maintain efficiency in subsequent sets. However, after numerous sets, accrued fatigue diminishes the productivity of each set, leading to longer recovery times and diminishing returns on further sets.
