Yeah, this is really beautifully put. I also think that actually religion is something that needs to contend with the complexity of human existence but is often used to make people more complacent within the communities they already have and to make them feel more fulfilled and globally minded about their lives. Faith should expand one's appetite for complexity , instead it is often used to justify the significance and the absolute morality of whatever it is you're currently doing.
