The current global situation reflects a heightened risk of serious conflict with existential implications, marking the most critical period in 50 years. A clear strategy pursued by adversaries, particularly Iran, has remained largely unchallenged, despite limited interventions like targeting missile shipments to Hezbollah. For over a decade, shipping of missiles to Hezbollah has persisted with minimal diminishment. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard is focused primarily on exporting its revolution, a mission viewed as essential to safeguarding its regime. This focus has led to an imbalance where the Revolutionary Guard prioritizes external objectives over addressing internal challenges, a scenario that Western powers and regional allies have failed to sufficiently counteract or disrupt.
