Involving resistant influencers early in the change process can be beneficial. Change champions may invite resistant individuals to be part of the change team to gain their buy-in and to avoid showing open resistance. This approach can utilize the honesty and passion of the resistant influencers, who often become the greatest advocates once they are involved in the change process.
