Developing empathy for oneself is crucial in resolving trauma as it often confuses the nervous system about responsibility. MDMA can intervene in this confusion through self-empathy, potentially offering healing. Moreover, to improve sleep quality, the relationship between temperature and sleep is vital. Cooling down by one to three degrees before sleep is essential, and activities like using a sauna or washing hands with warm water can help the body thermoregulate, ultimately cooling off for better sleep.
Recently I had the pleasure of hosting a live event in Sydney, Australia. This event was part of a lecture series called The Brain Body Contract. My favorite part of the evening was the question and answer period, where I had the opportunity to answer questions from the attendees of each event. Included here is the Q&A from our event at the Sydney Opera House.
