Maximizers tend to have higher standards and feel worse about their choices because their expectations are always high. This mindset can lead to less optimism, more stress, and higher levels of anxiety. On the other hand, satisficers may not achieve the highest objective results, but they tend to be more satisfied with their decisions and experience less negative emotions. So, it is important to consider both the objective and subjective aspects when evaluating the success of a choice.
