518: Daniel Kahneman | When Noise Destroys Our Best of Choices

The Jordan Harbinger Show

NOTE

The Power of Delayed Judgment

Delaying judgment by revisiting decisions after some time leads to more accurate results. Sleeping on a decision allows for independent judgments, with subsequent answers often differing and being more accurate. The average of the initial judgment and the revised one tends to be more precise. The longer the delay in making a decision, the more independent and accurate judgments become due to reduced noise interference.
