Channel Diversification for Startups

Founders often make the mistake of spreading thin across channels instead of focusing on nailing one efficiently. It typically takes one channel to reach $50 million or two to reach $100 million in ARR. However, very few startups have even one successful channel. While using paid advertising under $100 million in ARR can be a quick way to test and validate, it should not be the primary growth strategy. Trying all channels at once is not efficient since success usually requires a combination of different channels. In reality, there are only about six main channels through which businesses acquire customers: sales, partnerships, ads, Google search, content/inbound, and influencer marketing.
