Seth Godin on building a culture of impact
Culture First with Damon Klotz
Define Culture or Be Defined by It
Organizational culture is shaped by the behaviors that are tolerated within the environment, where the critical question becomes what behaviors are permitted when priorities are at stake. Acknowledging this, leaders must take a stand against negative behaviors, regardless of an individual's contribution level. By addressing disruptive actions decisively, such as intolerating yelling in the workplace, leaders not only set expectations for conduct but also contribute to a healthier organizational atmosphere. It reinforces the message that how things are done is just as important as the results achieved, ultimately fostering accountability and a positive work culture.
