Materialism and the Existence of the Brain

Materialists argue that under their view, the world exists inside the head, but then question the existence of the head itself since it must also exist. They claim that what is seen in the mirror is an internal representation of the real head created by the brain. According to materialism, the real brain and skull have no qualities but are defined by numbers and mathematical relationships. This perspective creates an abstraction of reality and struggles to explain how quantities can generate qualities, leading to an inversion of reasoning.
