The French Revolution Was Not Just a Russian Revolution, It Was a French Revolution

In addition to those representing the spirit of 1789 and 1792, there was a minority group in 1796 called the spirit of 1796. They believed that economic equality was necessary for true liberty and equality, and that the transfer of wealth from the aristocracy to the bourgeoisie was not enough. This group, which first asked the social question, laid the foundation for the Russian revolution, a social revolution comparable in scale to the French revolution.
