The company would then provide the vouchers to customers and deduct $10 from the driver's balance. This method allowed the company to validate the value proposition and conversion rates of the subscription service without having to build any complex systems. In another instance, when the company wanted to test a new onboarding flow, they simply took a screenshot of the existing screen and had a designer overlay the new flow on top of it, which they sent as a mock in-app message.
