Incorporating supersets in training can increase weekly volume by about 40%, allowing more sets in the same time. Initially, lifters might experience higher exertion and slightly increased session RP ratings when transitioning to superset sessions. This is due to the higher training density and doing more work in the same amount of time. Additionally, reports of nausea were higher in the superset group compared to the traditional group.
