The history of science shows that science is not a neutral or valueless enterprise but is influenced by conceptual frameworks, philosophical assumptions, and ideology. It is crucial to be self-aware of the ideology that filters the scientific data. Some non-scientists romanticize science and position themselves as truth seekers opposed to creationism, yet they overlook the contradictions within the ideology they are immersed in.
