The upper limits problem refers to the tendency for people to place limits on how good they can feel in their bodies, how wonderful their relationships could be, or how successful their work can be. These limits are often influenced by the families we come from and the stories we hold about the extent of joy, laughter, fun, creativity, and abundance we can experience. Addressing the upper limit involves recognizing and challenging the self-imposed barriers that prevent us from experiencing even greater levels of fulfillment and joy in life.
