Subjectively associating an experience with something good and wanting to continue down that path creates a synergy between dopamine releases and accelerates plasticity./nMaking failures, failing repeatedly, provided engaged in specific set of behaviors and telling ourselves that those failures are good for learning and us, also creates an outsized effect on the rate of plasticity./nDopamine release is highly subjective and has to have some sense of authenticity for an individual to work. Telling oneself that something is good when it's bad can actually release dopamine and help with learning.
