Two strategies can be used to handle fear and scarcity. Strategy one involves settling the ball, naming the gap, and having a gap plan. Strategy two focuses on comparative suffering, where fear and scarcity drive thoughts and feelings, leading to a sense of 'not enough' or lack. Scarcity is depicted in behaviors like panic-buying at grocery stores during times of crisis.
We have collectively hit weary. This is especially true for the brave folks on the front lines of this pandemic and for the people who love and support them. And it’s also true for all of us.
