The importance of agents in the real estate industry

In 2016, I had a hypothesis about how much technology would change the real estate industry. Despite the rise of technology, agents remained central to the transaction. It's not technology holding them back, it's psychology. Buyers and sellers want a local agent to hold their hand through the process. Real estate startups that ignore the importance of agents are bound to fail.
