Sigma Nutrition Radio

NOTE

Strength and Muscle Mass Relationship

Strength is a complex concept that involves muscular force production in various contexts and is influenced by structural and neurological changes in the musculoskeletal system. The relationship between muscle mass and strength is not always proportional, as muscles can leverage different mechanisms to get stronger in response to training. While a program that improves strength may lead to some increase in muscle mass, the amount of strength gained is not directly proportional to the increase in muscle mass.
