The Importance of Uncomfortable Conversations and Leaning into Discomfort
You must have uncomfortable conversations and lean into discomfort in order to succeed in business, career growth, and assertiveness. This lesson is illustrated by the story of female lions hunting in the Savannah. They sneak through the grass towards their prey while the male lion stands on the other side and lets out a loud roar. Most animals instinctively run away from the roar, right into the ambush set by the female lions. However, the ones that survive are the ones that run towards the roar, passing right by the male lion. The lesson is that we must face our fears and challenges instead of avoiding them.
