Historical Ambitions and Aggressions

Following the 1848 aberration, Europe's great powers resumed historical conflicts driven by dynastic ambitions. Prince President Bonaparte's 1851 coup ended a period of peace, leading to conflicts like the Crimean War with British alliance and the Italian liberation war. In the 1860s, Prussian Chancellor Bismarck aimed to unify Germany under Prussian rule. Poland also sought liberation amid historical domination by Prussia, Austria, and Russia.
