The early path of my life was influenced by my upbringing, neighborhood, family, nation, and religious practices. In college, a Jesuit professor challenged me to question my actions and understand their origins. It's important to work from the inside out, knowing ourselves and being aware of our biases. The first rule of mastery is to not let the external world dictate our internal experience. The most powerful people are clear-minded and live with conviction even in unpopular moments.
