Those already motivated to exercise are likely to seek challenges in other aspects of life when given the option to avoid physical struggle. On the other hand, some individuals are not inclined to challenge themselves and are unlikely to engage in exercise, showing that the desire for challenge and exercise are closely linked for many people.
