Is There a Secondary Market for Up Grades?

Airlines strategically inflate their point systems. They're like a currency for an emerging market whose central bank is very much running for the benefit of that country and not the benefit of people who save in it. The airlines seem to really like there are a lot of people who want to game the point system, but don't necessarily do it well. That kind of secondary market is good if it increases demand for points. It's bad if the cost of that is that people are less loyal because they know that they can costly afof they buy its rights.
