Effective training, facilitation, and coaching require the ability to remain invisible, allowing participants to project their feelings and interpretations onto the facilitator. This projection can encompass a range of perceptions, from viewing the facilitator as a parental figure to seeing them as perfection itself. The facilitator must not become entangled in these projections or take them personally, as doing so can hinder the healing process. Instead, they should accept and allow these projections to pass through them without claiming authority or taking on negative identities. This transparency fosters a space where individuals can explore their own emotions without the facilitator stepping into their emotional patterns.
